Spring Break 08 - April 6th

On Sunday, we made our pilgrimage to NYC to see Uncle Rob. It was Kensley's first train ride and she did GREAT! We were in the city all day. First, we went to Battery Park to walk around - there you can see Ellis Island and Lady Liberty. There, we saw the WWII Memorial. It was humbling. Next, we ate at Say Cheese, our favorite hole-in-the-wall soup spot. It was a great day for soup! After that, we hung out at Uncle Rob's to nap, snack, and gear back up for another round of...eating! Finally, we ate at Bar Americain, Bobby Flay's restaurant. It was really yummy and the staff was super-nice. Of course, Kensley made it her business to flirt with any and all traffic that commented on her existence. She was great until dessert when enough was enough! I don't think Bar Americain and its patrons needed to hear the sermon Kensley was gearing up!
