Summer's for Swimmin'!

Kensley and Joanna have a BLAST swimming in the backyard pool. They are the sweetest little friends! It is so funny to see them get together and start talking to one another. It is almost like the "twin language" people talk about. I firmly believe that they know exactly what they are saying to one another...kind of like the movie "Look Who's Talking!"

Graduation

Kensley officially graduated from therapy on Tuesday. She is "age-appropriate" for everything and her neck is where it should be (securely on top of her shoulders, but in flexibility and range of motion, as well!). Her teachers, Mrs. Jen and Miss April, actually got Kensley a graduation present, though! They went out and bought Kensley her very own set of the toys she admired and worked with each week! How nice is that?!? Kensley has been forever making music since she got the toys home. She occassionally uses the drumsticks as such, but it is more for her "microphone" when we sing with the radio each day. :P

Pigtail Princess

Kensley has toooons o' hair - and has since birth! It is to the point where we have to put bows, etc. in it to keep it out of her eyes. Finally it is long enough to put into pigtails...and I have to say even Kensley thought she was cute. She just giggled when we finished. I really, really am glad to have a real-life babydoll. And speaking of, I get these looks from people sometimes when we are out and about and now I get it! Two people in the last week thought I was actually carrying around a babydoll! I guess it is socially inappropriate to play with dolls after a certain age...
