Not really! Libby has found a new spot to chase the warmth of the sun across the living room without being disturbed.

She's got potential

Kensley has a marvelous little mind. I know that sounds braggy to say. If it offends you, stop reading.
But she does. She can build things with her Legos, and forts with materials I've never considered, and make games and play dates with her animals, oh! the list goes on. Kensley has excellent spatial sense and can build solutions for other toys using materials from different play sets. I would love to see her be able to use this gift someday. For now, I think she's still "going to be a 've-tra-narian'". :)

Fall in the Midwest

Ok, so all the beautiful fall pictures HAD to have originated in the Midwest. All the leaves have fallen, now. There was not a corner we rounded that did beam with vibrant, glorious colors.

Yesterday, I was heading to the post office and made a wrong turn. I went to punch it in the GPS, but started moving and never escaped from this screen. I realized where I was at the stoplight. My backseat driver was reading the screen and said, "fu<k-tation not available while vehicle is in motion." We stretched thru that word and pronounced it "fuunnction." She is right, though, [her word] shouldn't be available while driving...

This fuzzy little munchkin

...rode the bus to school for the first time today (on the coldest day, yet)! She was really excited and there are kids I already know from school and subbing that rise with her. Kensley will be in great hands.
