Fwimming like a Fish!
Kensley, like most kids, loves her bath. We were hoping she would love the water, too, but thought she may be wimpy (like her mama) and like the water nice and warm...not so! She just loves water: warm, cold - you name it, she loves it! It may even be the pool that gets this little fish to crawl!
Lathered up and covered up...gotta keep the fair baby protected
This is so much fun, Mom! Did you know fwimming was so fun?!?!

I just love my pool. Do you want to splash, too?
Yep. Even fun this way...[bubble, bubble, cough, cough]

Memorial Day Weekend
As previously stated, we were able to attend the Wheeler's Memorial Day Get-together that my parents hosted this year. They remodeled the house and had "the sisters" come up to see it (and to show off you-know-who...) It was fun being in their company and allowing Kensley to meet her great-aunts and uncles on my side. I hope she is able to keep these meetings straight!!!
Can ya bounce with me?
Our neighbor outgrew her Jumperoo and allowed us to borrow it. Like Joanna, Kensley just LOVES it! All you have to say is, "Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy" and Kensley is on the move! She loves her new skill and practices it in almost anything!

Swimming with our Hero!
Memorial Day was especially welcome since we got to spend it in ATL - and I didn't have to go back to school after the weekend was over. It was just a girls' trip down south, but Mike surprised us halfway through our stay to hang with us for Memorial Day Weekend! Yaaay! Memorial Day with a real HERO! We visited with aunts and uncles on the Wheeler side, Grandmama Sherrod, Joe and Judy, and not to forget grandparents. Wednesday, May 21, 2008
Reunited and it feels so goooood!
I had the opportunity to meet up with my girlfriend from our Germany days on our trip to ATL and her two babies, Noah and Sadie. Noah is 360 days older than Kensley and Sadie is 2 days younger than Kensley. I kid that Jen is SUCH a good friend, she went and got pregnant with Sadie so I wouldn't be pregnant alone.
Kensley and Sadie
Twins with different moms and born two days apart.
Big Brother, Noah, is into pots and pans and was sooo proud of his newest concoction! Watch out, Emril!!!
We went out to eat later in the day and Jen asked about Kensley's tooth cutting. I reported all-knowingly that Kensley showed all of the signs, down to the white knots, and still no teeth. Jen asked me to feel again that day for a progress check and BAM! There were TWO teeth there. I kid you not! The day before there was nothing. I promise because Kensley used my finger for a teether...but on Sunday, there were two little teeth poking through. Another story of Jen walking me through motherhood.
