Country Girl

Kensley may be Jersey-born, but she is truly a country girl! She loves to be outside in the blazing, hot sun in her barefeet and playing with dirt. Kensley has taken a great affinity to Pop's utility carts and "wides" them at every opportunity. Lately, she has learned to twist Pop's arm hard enough (snicker) to go on "wides" to see the "amals" (animals). Just the other day, we hopped in the cart and rode down the road to see a friend's farm with goats and horses. Kensley was in HEAVEN!
Another favorite past time is to help Nanna water her plants and flowers. I really don't know who enjoys this more?!?!

Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Thankfulness, please!

My cousin sent this along and thought everyone could benefit from a little reverence for this holiday weekend! Have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend.

Pretty as a Picture

Kensley was a silly mess yesterday - just full of fun, words, and enthusiasm! Here she is posing for the "tam-wah" after a "wunning" giggle-fest in the front yard. This was all her! She just sat down and posed. Kensley played so hard at McDonald's yesterday that she LAID her HEAD on the FLOOR (ewww!). I took that as my cue to leave and get her in her bed to nap. Later that evening, Kensley said, "Dammy (Grammy), Poppy, tiss (kiss)." So, we called Grammy and Poppy so they could send her a kiss. FULL of WORDS and goings-on.

Little Mama

Kensley got a babydoll from Grammy and Poppy at Christmas that came with a voice and all the baggage that we seem to need with Kensley. Here is the little mama, sans crying baby, with all of her garb, too!

Livin' in the South

We made the pilgrimage down to ATL Mother's Day Weekend and have been full-speed ahead ever since. Libby and Kensley think it is GREAT to run around barefoot and carefree - and I am happy they can. I hope Libby and Kensley will have a great big yard when we move again. Meanwhile, Kensley has made herself right at home. This is a BABYDOLL stroller - Kensley uses it as a recliner.
Yes, she enjoyed DWTS!
The Wiggles!
Cleaning, dog sitting (or are they babysitting her?!?), and being silly.
Kensley, being "siddy."
Nanna and Pop have more reading glasses laying around than anything I can think of...and Kensley just likes to impersonate!
Girl in Glasses... so studious!
This is a plant stand that has become a seat. What a stinker?!?
Kensley was demonstrating, "up and down." LOL!
