Just after that, we hopped back eastward to Lancaster just in time for almost everything to close up. LC got to see the Amish and their horses and buggies. We ate at the renowned GoodNPlenty family-style restaurant. Kensley devoured the applesuace and we rode home with our bellies full. LC said she could "eat like this everyday." Thankfully, they got to play off a little of their meals on the playground just outside of the restaurant and make friends with the resident goats, pig, and afro-sporting chickens. (Sorry, no pics...you have to visit to see for yourself ;))
The next day, we ate at the Vincentown Diner for brunch. Mike showed everyone around the base and his "other car." Fun times!
We also had to introduce them to dinner at A'Femmina, our favorite authentic Italian Restaurant, where the portions are crazy-huge...and tastefully sinful!

On Monday, we planned to go to the Please Touch Museum. Having done our homework, we noted that it was super-close to The Franklin Institute, both places we'd never been. We elected to go to Please Touch first as it is kid-friendly. IT MOVED!!! Yes, the new address was noted on their site, but it didn't say it was their new address - we attributed it to being a whole block large, so there were multiple parking opportunities...what goobers! So, for all you GPS followers: Make sure your GPS is updated when you follow it blindly. Check the address on the website and make sure that is where you NEED to go. No excuses!
Aside from that bit of confusion, we went into The Franklin anyway. What a great mistake!!! Mike, Kensley, and I would have totally missed out on some great science fun! It is a wonderful place to go with tons of touchable, interactive exhibits, which Mike nor I ever realized. The Matt Marlatts also had a great time there and really enjoyed the Narnia exhibit. We missed Please Touch, but what fun to have gone to The Franklin!

Kensley and LC had the BEST time together wherever we were. LC is a phenomenal big sister and she surely didn't miss a beat with Kensley. When LC deservingly took a break for herself, Kensley would throw her hands in the air as if to say, "Where'd she go???" We miss all the Marlatts dearly, but Kensley misses her buddy - big time!
