Sunny in the Sunshine State
We have been busy unpacking, placing (WHERE did we have all of this stuff in that townhouse?!?), and purchasing that comes with a move. With our extra hands during the move (Aunt Marilyn and Judy), we were unpacked and placed in less than 4 days. They were a HUGE help and we are forever indebted.
Libby and Kensley have made an easy adjustment into the new house. Kensley went straight from the crib to her toddler bed and sleeps there very well. She loves the independence of waking up and coming to our bed in the morning (I just wish she would wait till 7, though!). Libby loves having the deck in the back to secure her tan and to manage the birds and squirrels. So far, so good!
Shhhh....she's napping!

Staht Spreadin' the News...
...We're leaving N-J! That's right folks, after a G-L-O-R-I-O-U-S three years in the Garden State, we have packed our bags and headed south for another grand adventure!
As luck would have it, our neighbor was packing out and having his yard landscaped the same day we were. I just don't think I could have believed such traffic if I hadn't been there. Being true professionals, the drivers maneuvered their rigs as not to impede traffic all that much. Before we knew it, our things were on their way!
We dined at our favorite diner and posed with our favorite plane as we left NJ with a mind full of memories and our hearts full of friends. As we left NJ, Kensley and I went over the bridge bidding farewell to a state with alot of greats:
1. Great folks - really. Make the effort to get to know the locals. We have met and come to love some great friends born and bred in NJ.
2. Great food: Lots of European influence, lots of Italians - need I say more?!? Yummmmmmm
3. Great spots: NJ and its surrounding areas have some of the greatest attractions! If you can't find something great to do in this area, you obviously haven't opened your eyes (or mind!).

Happy 4th, Y'all!
We had a great time at the lake celebrating the 4th this year! Our favorite patriot was around to celebrate our freedom and we couldn't have had a better time. Kensley enjoyed boating and jetskiing. Here is a pic of us on the lake, minus Libby. She makes me nervous on the boat. We watched fireworks from the boat with a great deal of "OOOOOOOhing" and "AAAAAaahhhing."

Let Freedom Ring!
I was going to post some random, vain shots of what we did over the 4th, but I am going to save them for another summertime post. For now, view the video that reminds us why we are allowed to celebrate so many of our freedoms. The following video makes me so proud to be an American, but it makes me even prouder of my home state, Georgia, who truly honors our fallen soldiers.
Killed in action the week before, the body of Staff Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City , Georgia , just south of Atlanta , on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia . A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time. This was filmed during the procession by a State Trooper. http://e.blip.tv/scripts/flash/showplaye....k&enablejs=true
