Toddler Time

Kensley is every bit a toddler...going on 13. She is a big girl and will try just about anything. If she thinks she can't do it, then she tells us what it is she wants us to do with a sweet little "peeeeas." Here are a few shots of Kensley in her daily activities.
Kensley still looooves books. Daddy had the honors this particular round!
Kensley and I got a gift in this "bad" [bag]. She carried it around like a "busss" [purse].
Kensley and Joanna playing in her tent. They peek their heads out and push it around...tons and tons of laughs, giggles and fun!
Hey!

Bubblicious

Kensley got to take a bath in our tub the other night. She took a nose-dive straight into the "bubbos" (bubbles) and did so repeatedly. This is her showing off her bubble face. So silly.
And they taste good, too!

Valentine Surprise!

Kensley got Valentine's Day money from Mimi this year and spent it wisely, I must say. For a while I have been wanting to get Kensley a table and chairs. She just loves them anywhere she is! With the move, etc. I hated to get one more thing and semi-dismissed the idea until I saw a bargain at Wally World! I didn't set it up until Kensley went to bed on Friday night so it was a surprise to her on Valentine's Day morning. The pictures that follow convey her interest.

Kensley coloring at her new table. Kensley and her bud, Joanna sitting together for a second.

Valentine's Day Gypsy

It kind of looks like I let Kensley dress herself today - she may be over-zealously matched . Nanna and Pop sent some must-have attire and she had to start wearing it today.
Check out the new shirt and leggings. I asked her to say cheese - thinking she was a first grader and knew what I meant!
Then I said, "Ok, one, two three, SMILE!"
And look! The third and final attempt looks great...so long as you love pink like I do and that cute little toothy smile!

I Peeked Around the Corner to Find...

Kensley, Abby, and Elmo having the conversation of a lifetime in Kensley's 'wah-din.' I couldn't recognize the words in their private convo, but I know it was sweet. The first shot I got without her knowing I was there....awww.
Hi Mama! I was just loving on Abby and Elmo. Showing off Abby
Here, you can actually see Kensley telling me what Abby told her. Pointing to Abby and Elmo - Trust me, I haven't forgotten their names. This is the cutest picture to me. She was getting ready to get out of the wah-din. I told her to wait and one, two, three, SMILE! She did (with blueberry pancakes still on her face) with that little hand propping on the wah-din (wagon).
