Eco-Friendlier
...as I type this my rugged husband is driving his practical car for this year... A Honda Crossover. And it's black =) He traded in his big ol' gas-guzzling truck for a black Honda Accord that he so eagerly traded in just 5 short years ago to get his man-truck. How's that for irony?!?!

If you got a weird email from me...
...it was a virus. I was hacked - so I am sorry you received trash. Don't open it and please refrain from the hate mail. All I did was have you in my address book. :( I was actually at work on a field trip when you all were getting these crazy emails from my commercial account, which I cannot access from school.

Big Kid Puzzle
Yesterday Mike got Kensley a puzzle from the $ store in lieu of candy. I thought it would be something we'd work on together. Five minutes after I (patronizingly) opened the package and Kensley had completed this all.by.herself!!!! I knew she was good at them, but this?!?! That made me proud! Go Kensley!

She's a Beach Girl!
Kensley was so excited to wear these big girl flip flops to the beach - and to hang out at the beach, of course.

We Survived Christmas!
It would appear with my lack of posting that we disappeared after Christmas - never to return. That is not the case. We had a very, very big and blessed (short) Christmas from here to Tennessee and then jumped right back into our work and school routines. I think this is the first weekend that we are coming back up for air - and February was Tuesday.
We were thankful to have The Wheelers and Grandmama down here for Christmas.
I don't think Kensley really understood how big and powerful her Christmas wish was going to be...
...but just in case, she can brake for some chapstick!

We've entered the world of Barbie.
Each year we take a Four Generations Picture...They get better each year!
The following week we trekked up to Tennessee to see the Marlatts. It was great fun and I am elated that there was no snow the entire time we were there. I was holding my breath big.time.
I'd say there are some strong genes in this picture! We neglected to get the siblings in a shot and only got (about 100) the grandchildren.
I'm a little partial to this one, though... yeah - they're related!
