Oh, What a Weekend!

It all began on Thursday when Uncle Rob arrived. The fun, the family, and the festivities were endless.
She looks so big and is so proud of herself for drinking like a big girl, now.
We took Uncle Rob to Fudpuckers when he arrived on Thursday where they have live gators (ew!) and a playground, just over the gator pond........
You haven't been pucked till you've been Fudpucked!
Then, Grammy and Poppy stopped in on Friday afternoon to have dinner and head off to their next stop.
Grammy and Poppy brought Savannah's Big Wheel down for Kensley to use.
...So Uncle Rob was the honorary tricycle motor! Gotta love Uncle Rob
Grammy read Puff the Magic Dragon to Kensley
What's a trip from Uncle Rob without fun and PRESENTS?
On Saturday, Pop and Mike went to a dove shoot while Nanna, Uncle Rob, Kensley, and I went shopping and to the beach. It was a fun-filled day for everyone.
BEACH TIME! We just love the beach!
LOVE the beach!
We took Nanna, Pop, and Uncle Rob to the base on Sunday for brunch and to see what they could see.
Group photo on the bay
What a fun weekend - what a great time!

Sunny in the Sunshine State

We have been busy unpacking, placing (WHERE did we have all of this stuff in that townhouse?!?), and purchasing that comes with a move. With our extra hands during the move (Aunt Marilyn and Judy), we were unpacked and placed in less than 4 days. They were a HUGE help and we are forever indebted. Libby and Kensley have made an easy adjustment into the new house. Kensley went straight from the crib to her toddler bed and sleeps there very well. She loves the independence of waking up and coming to our bed in the morning (I just wish she would wait till 7, though!). Libby loves having the deck in the back to secure her tan and to manage the birds and squirrels. So far, so good! Shhhh....she's napping! Our playset
The playground while we were shopping
These two! They love each other!
Take pi-chur, Mommy! Cheese!

Staht Spreadin' the News...

...We're leaving N-J! That's right folks, after a G-L-O-R-I-O-U-S three years in the Garden State, we have packed our bags and headed south for another grand adventure!
As luck would have it, our neighbor was packing out and having his yard landscaped the same day we were. I just don't think I could have believed such traffic if I hadn't been there. Being true professionals, the drivers maneuvered their rigs as not to impede traffic all that much. Before we knew it, our things were on their way!
We dined at our favorite diner and posed with our favorite plane as we left NJ with a mind full of memories and our hearts full of friends. As we left NJ, Kensley and I went over the bridge bidding farewell to a state with alot of greats:
1. Great folks - really. Make the effort to get to know the locals. We have met and come to love some great friends born and bred in NJ.
2. Great food: Lots of European influence, lots of Italians - need I say more?!? Yummmmmmm
3. Great spots: NJ and its surrounding areas have some of the greatest attractions! If you can't find something great to do in this area, you obviously haven't opened your eyes (or mind!).

Kensley and Her Pals

Kensley is one lucky little lady to have such great buddies at an early age! I hope she will maintain them as lifelong friends as I have had the opportunity to make lifetime memories with their moms.

Happy 4th, Y'all!

We had a great time at the lake celebrating the 4th this year! Our favorite patriot was around to celebrate our freedom and we couldn't have had a better time. Kensley enjoyed boating and jetskiing. Here is a pic of us on the lake, minus Libby. She makes me nervous on the boat. We watched fireworks from the boat with a great deal of "OOOOOOOhing" and "AAAAAaahhhing."
