Pretty in Pink
Kensley got this cute little outfit from the Roberts in the fall and this was the first time she wore it. She thought she looked "tyoot" in the dress after I put it on her. She really liked the pockets. Funny thing about this picture was that I asked her to turn around so I could take her picture and she did a total model-like spin!!!! I have no idea where that came from, but of course, I only got the picture of it and not the video. You'll have to use your imagination.
This is her "cheese" face. She does this now everytime we pull out the camera or ask her to smile.

Pattycake
[Pat-a-cake] or "buttkicks" as Kensley fervently says in attempt at Pattycake. Dora, who used to sing and dance, now only sits very well as Kensley tries to teach her how to pattycake. Kensley believes her to be the best student for this chant as Dora sits up very nicely - it's just that clapping thing that Dora gets hung up on! All of Kensley's other dolls have a hard time sitting upright on the table and this truly gets them in tons of trouble with the Miss.
Only This Face...
...could get this guy to "dit" [sit] in pink chairs and play something prissy.
But he is smitten and is a GRRRREAT daddy!

Chocolate Makes Me Happy
Our family likes chocolate. We don't generally feed Kensley junk food since Mike and I really like it and really have to exercise a great deal of self-control while in its presence. We just don't want Kensley to crave it (like I do!).
Today I was experimenting with chocolate cobbler recipes and allowed Kensley to have some as her snack when she woke up from her nap - HUGE treat. She totally indulged as noted in the pictures, so I took out the camera to capture the moment. I asked her to say cheese, and instead said chocolate - it sounds like choc-it. I couldn't get her to say it for the camera, but was lucky enough to snag a few Kensley-isms in the process.

Toddler Time
Kensley is every bit a toddler...going on 13. She is a big girl and will try just about anything. If she thinks she can't do it, then she tells us what it is she wants us to do with a sweet little "peeeeas." Here are a few shots of Kensley in her daily activities.
