Couldn't Resist!

I couldn't resist taking a picture of Kensley in the leggings Ms. Emily got for her. As you can see, her belly fills out her shirt, but her legs are still long and lean. Kensley is doing well trying to hold up her head, although she does it better in a snuggle position.

Kensley's One Month Dr. Visit

Kensley had her one month check-up today and she is still growing just fine. She weighed 10lbs., 1oz. and measured 22 inches long. Her head circumference measured at 37 inches. The doc's recommendations are to "continue doing whatever it is we are doing." (Whew!) Kensley also had her second dose of the Hep B shot and only cried for about 3 seconds. I was so proud of her! She is big and tough! (I didn't cry either, for the record.) Next doctor visit she starts her rounds of booster shots...not looking forward to that!

Kensley's First Visit With SANTA!

Kensley had her first visit with Santa. She slept through all of the waiting in line, the visit, and the ride home. She was the big attraction, though, because everyone had to comment on the "tiny baby with all that blonde hair!" (We get that everywhere we go!)

Kensley actually woke up after the third picture was taken - but only for a second. She was back to sleep before we could get her buckled back into the carrier. Santa called Kensley a "wiggle worm." Santa IS always watching!

Kensley was dreaming about Santa and his reindeer before she even met him!

One Month Old!

Kensley was one month old on November 29th! It is hard to believe she has been with us a whole month. She is growing and learning new tricks everyday. Kensley likes to smile now and is especially cheerful after a nap. She loves Libby and enjoys her kisses, as well as watching her as she is rubbed. Kensley will also mimic sticking out her tongue. Judging from the photos, Kensley is very serious about learning her surroundings and processing everything she sees and hears.
